Seven Ways to Display Your Child’s School Work

Are you wondering what to do with all the little works of art, report cards, certificates, and special projects, that your child brings home from school almost every day? Do you want a way to make sure special pieces are preserved and displayed? Instead of storing the work away forever after it has worn out its welcome on the refrigerator, why not take a look at our ideas. These are special ways to you can treasure and display all the special, little things your child has created during his or her childhood.
All of the following projects were easily made using Mod Podge—making the projects simple enough for you and your child to take part in and enjoy together! Here are some ideas.
1. Table and Chairs Set
Create a simple yet contemporary table set with old coloring book pages or other original art work.
2. Trays
What better way to receive breakfast in bed than on a tray your child created!
Decorate trays with your child's art work. Trays are great for gifts for Mother's Day, Father's Day, birthdays or for grandparents. Get directions!
3. Bulletin Board or Chalk Board
Decorate bulletin board frame or borders with art work.
4. Mouse pad

5. Toy Box/Treasure Chest
Cover toy boxes with a collage of you child's best work! Use Hard Coat Mod Podge for extra protection.
Make a special box covered with old report cards and other documents, then use this box for storing other certificates, report cards, etc.
6. Picture Frame
Cover a frame in your child’s work, and even place artwork inside the frame!
7. Tissue Box
Cover any ordinary box with something colorful and fun your child made to create a bright tissue holder! Use Sparkle Mod Podge to add shimmer and shine to your craft.
When using decoupage with your child’s artwork, make sure you make color photocopies of certain pieces of work (especially if markers are used), so the colors don’t fade when applying Mod Podge. Remember, use your imagination! There are so many ways to use Mod Podge with children's art.
