Other Supplies
Wood file box
Foam paintbrush
Scissors
Nautical fabric
Hot glue
Red ribbon
Rope
Small wood plaque
Burlap fabric
Wood anchor
Detail paintbrush
Sea shell

Instructions

1. Paint the base of the box Brilliant Blue and the edge of the lid Parchment with a foam paintbrush. 

2. Trim the fabric to the size of the lid of the box.  Coat the top of the lid with fabric Mod Podge.  Position the fabric on top of the box, smooth wrinkles with your fingers.  Allow to dry.

3. Hot glue two red ribbons across the top (lower section) of the lid.  Hot glue red ribbon and rope around the lip of the lid.

4. Using fabric Mod Podge, cover the wood plaque with burlap fabric.  Paint the anchor Brilliant Blue.  Using a detail paintbrush and Parchment, paint highlights to the anchor.  Hot glue the anchor to the center of the plaque, hot glue the plaque to the top of the box, glue rope around the plaque.  Hot glue a shell to the plaque.
