Why shouldn’t I wash my Bucilla tablecloth fabrics before stitching?

Bucilla tablecloth designs are stamped with water-soluble ink. If you wash the tablecloth before you stitch it, you will lose the pattern. When you are finished stitching your design, you will want to wash the piece so the ink markings do not interfere with your beautiful stitch work.
