How is a stamp positioner used?
A stamp positioner is a great tool for aligning stamp images, and is especially useful when stamping names or monograms. The set consists of two pieces – an L-shaped positioner and a clear square plate.
Line up the L-shaped positioner with the square plate. Press the edge of an inked stamp against the inside, lower left corner of the “L”. Be sure not to use permanent ink for this step. Stamp your image onto the square plate.
Put the square plate on the paper where you want the image to appear, and line up the L-shaped positioner with the square plate.
Pull away the square plate, leaving the stamp positioner in place. Align the edge of the wood mount with the corner of the stamp positioner and stamp the image.
