What is the best way to apply a Rub-On Pattern?
Rub-On Patterns should first be cut apart from the pattern sheet. Lay cut out sections on project surface dark side down to determine desired placement of design. Patterns can be secured in place with stencil tape. Using the flat blade of an embossing tool or a craft / Popsicle stick, apply light pressure and rub over pattern lines. Lift rub-on pattern slightly to check for transfer. NOTE: If pattern lines are too light, replace and rub slightly harder. If surface has some “give” such as a stretched canvas, support surface by placing a book or other hard surface under canvas before rubbing.
