Can FolkArt Enamels be thinned with water?
No, thinning FolkArt Enamels with water compromises the integrity of the paint formula and will prevent the paint from properly adhering to your glass surface.
Can I create any special effects with FolkArt Milk Paint?
Yes, FolkArt Milk Paint is versatile and can be used many ways. Apply a standalone color or use to create a distressed appearance. This versatile milk paint can also be thinned with water to achieve a washed look. By thinning the paint a soft color wash can be applied to the surface for just a hint of color while highlighting the natural wood grain.
Can I mix FolkArt® Extreme Glitter with extender or water?
No, FolkArt® Extreme Glitter should not be mixed with extender or water as this will dilute the glitter content and reduce the adhesion of the paint to the surface.
Can I mix two FolkArt Ultra Dye colors to achieve a new color or different value of the same color?
Yes, FolkArt Ultra Dye is available in 14 high-chroma, intense colors that are intermixable to create custom colors which can match any home decor project or fit any decorating occasion.
To mix small amounts of color at a time, simply pour a small amount of the lighter color into a mixing bowl and add small quantities of the darker color until the desired color is achieved.
Can I mix two or more FolkArt® Texture Paint colors together?
All FolkArt® Texture Paint colors can be intermixed to create custom colors. They can be mixed before use or mixed as they are applied to the project.
Can I put a plant in a terra cotta pot that I painted with FolkArt® Chalkboard Paint?
Yes, simply coat the inside of the pot with a brush-on varnish or sealer.
Do I have to use a medium when fabric painting using FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint?
