It is best to apply several thin coats of paint, allowing the paint to dry between coats.

Does my project need to be painted in a specific direction, such as with the grain of the wood?

No, it does not matter if the FolkArt® Chalkboard Paint is applied with the grain.

What is the dry time/cure time for FolkArt® Chalkboard Paint?

Dry time between coats is 1 hour and cure time is 24 hours depending on humidity.
