What can I do with my Bucilla felt calendar after the year has ended?
After the year has ended you can still enjoy your project by cutting out the motifs from your calendar to make magnets, ornaments, scrapbook covers or appliqué designs.

First spray the back with spray adhesive and press a piece of white felt the size of the calendar on the back. Allow to dry. Then cut the calendar up as desired.

Felt and sequined calendar pieces are not washable. Do not apply them to fabric that must be washed.
Why are there three languages in the instructions for my Bucilla project?
Instructions are provided in three languages for our international customers.
How many strands of floss should I use to sew the sequins on my Bucilla project?
Use one strand of floss to attach sequins to your Bucilla projects.
How do you stitch quarter and three quarter cross stitches?
These kinds of stitches are simply portions of a cross stitch.
A quarter cross-stitch is one of the extensions from the center of a cross-stitch. These stitches can be worked from any corner in toward the center as shown in examples 1 - 5. A three quarter cross-stitch is a combination of a quarter stitch and half cross-stitch.
How do I determine how many strands of each color I will need for each stitch in my Bucilla needlecraft project?
Refer to the color symbol guide in the instructions. Look in the third column (the column with the hands separating the floss). The number in that column tells you how many strands you’ll need for each color in each stitch.
How do I measure the count or weave of the fabric in my Bucilla kit?
Lay a ruler down straight against the edge of your fabric. Carefully count how many squares fall within an inch.
How can I keep my blending filaments from fraying when I embroider a satin stitch?
Drag the filament through beeswax before stitching, and then launder as instructed to remove the wax from the piece.
What is the difference between a whipstitch and a slipstitch?
Nothing- they are the same stitch, but people sometimes call them by different names.
Why shouldn’t I wash my Bucilla tablecloth fabrics before stitching?
Bucilla tablecloth designs are stamped with water-soluble ink. If you wash the tablecloth before you stitch it, you will lose the pattern. When you are finished stitching your design, you will want to wash the piece so the ink markings do not interfere with your beautiful stitch work.
Where can I find a DMC conversion chart for my Bucilla stitchery kit?
You can download our Bucilla to DMC conversion chart as a PDF to make sure you're using the appropriate floss for your kit.
