What other helpful hints are there when crafting with Martha Stewart Crafts ® Gilding Sheets?
Gilding sheets can be cut into smaller, more manageable squares for easier handling or when working on smaller surfaces.
It is best not to work under a far or in an area with a lot of air motion as the gilding sheets are very lightweight and will “fly away.” Try to capture excess pieces while burnishing as they can be reused on future projects. Touching the metallic gilding sheets with oily, dirty or greasy hands may discolor or tarnish their beautiful sheen; it is best to protect your project by wearing cotton gilding gloves.
What types of surfaces does Erasable Liquid Chalk work on?
For best results, use it on top of Martha Stewart Crafts® Multi-Surface Chalkboard Paint that has been conditioned by lightly rubbing chalk over the surface.
Is Mod Podge Clear Chalkboard Topcoat waterproof?
Yes, Mod Podge Clear Chalkboard Topcoat is water-resistant; however, it is not completely waterproof.
My Martha Stewart Crafts Vintage Decor Antique Wax is applied too heavily in one area, can I remove it?
As long as the wax is still wet and has not fully dried, you can remove it by simply wetting the desired area with additional clear wax and continuing to wipe away the excess.
