Yes, heat-setting is recommended to maximize the durability of your fabric decorated with Fabric Creations. To heat-set your project, follow the instructions below:

Yes, all fabrics should be prewashed using soap and water following the manufacturer’s washing instructions. Most denim fabrics should be washed multiple times in hot water to remove thoroughly the sizing in the fabric. DO NOT use liquid fabric softener or dryer sheet as doing so may prevent the inks from adhering to your fabric properly. If your garment is wrinkled, you may iron the fabric as instructed on the garment label; however, DO NOT use spray starch as that, too, may prevent the ink from adhering to your fabric properly.
For best results, use smooth or low-textured fabrics such as cottons, poly-cotton blends, woven blends, denims, and home décor textiles when decorating with Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Inks. Textured or ribbed fabrics can also be used; however, a portion of the decorated design may be lost within the ribs or over the texture of the fabric surface.
Delta Ceramcoat Frosted Glass Paint dries to the touch within 1–2 hours, depending on thickness of application; when using heavier applications of paint or working in a high humidity area, the paints can take longer to dry. Once dry, your glass surface must be baked in the oven to fully cure the paint to the surface.
