How should I prepare my project surface before painting with Leather Studio™ paints?

All surfaces, new or used should be thoroughly cleaned with soap and water. No need to totally immerse your vinyl or leather surface, simply moisten a cloth with warm water and mild soap; wipe over surface to clean removing all impurities. Allow to dry.

What if my project surface has a waxy, highly-polished finish or polish build-up?
