When stamping fabric, should I use a protective layer beneath the fabric?
Yes, we recommend using our Fabric Creations™ Stamping Mat which is soft, yet firm and will provide the proper work surface enabling you to create consistently clear stamp designs every time.
How do I apply Napkins to fabric with Fabric Mod Podge®?
  1. Cut the design out of the Napkin and discard the layers. Place Napkin upside down on a piece of parchment or wax paper.

  2. Apply Fabric Mod Podge® to the back of the design.

  3. Place the Napkin and paper face-up on the fabric where desired, and press firmly but gently to the surface with your fingertips. Remove the paper carefully and press the design firmly again.

  4. Apply a second coat of Fabric Mod Podge® with the Textile Brush, working into the Napkin with a gentle, swirling motion. Clean the brush often when the ink of the Napkin bleeds.

  5. Cure for 72 hours.

  6. Wash in cold water by hand or gentle cycle. Dry flat or line dry.

Apply Soft Fabric Ink to the face of the stamp so that the white design area is covered. Be careful not to apply too much ink as this will flood the recesses of the design.
What types of fabrics can be decorated using Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Inks?

For best results, use smooth or low-textured fabrics such as cottons, poly-cotton blends, woven blends, denims, and home décor textiles when decorating with Fabric Creations Soft Fabric Inks. Textured or ribbed fabrics can also be used; however, a portion of the decorated design may be lost within the ribs or over the texture of the fabric surface.
