How long does it take FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint to cure?

FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint will dry to the touch very quickly; however, it will take approximately 48 hours before it is cured to the surface. Once it is cured to the surface, FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint is water and fade resistant.

How long does FolkArt Watercolor Acrylic Paint take to dry?

A standard brushstroke painted on a porous surface will be dry to the touch within approximately 25 minutes and completely dried within an hour, depending on the amount of water used to dilute the paint. On sealed surfaces, the same standard brushstroke painted on a will be dry to the touch usually within two hours. Actual dry times can vary based on the application of paint and the humidity of the work environment.

Can I use my FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint on my outdoor projects?
Yes, it is UV and weather resistant and can be used both indoors on curtains, glassware and wood as well as outdoors on terra cotta and garden signs.

Yes. FolkArt 3D dries to a durable, satin sheen that is both water- and weather-resistant.

Does FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint hold up well on outdoor surfaces?

Absolutely. FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint is formulated so that it can be used on interior surfaces as well as a permanent outdoor paint. By the nature of the acrylic polymers used to make FolkArt Brushed Metal, it is weather resistant.  FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint dries to a brushed metal finish that reflects a soft polished effect. When properly cured to the surface, (approximately 48 hours), it is self-sealing and does not require a sealing topcoat.

What is the best way to apply FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint to fabric surfaces?
When applying FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint premixed with FolkArt Textile Medium, use a moderately heavy application. Moderate to heavy paint applications will have greater durability.
How long does it take FolkArt 3D Acrylic Paint to dry?

FolkArt 3D Acrylic Paint will form a skin over the dimensional paint surface and dry to the touch fairly quickly; however, variables such as project surface, humidity, and thickness of paint application will all impact the complete dry time. Do not place anything over the dimensional texture while drying, as doing so may reduce the dimension and texture.

On what surfaces can I use FolkArt Color Shift Acrylic Paint?

FolkArt Color Shift Acrylic Paint can be applied to most paintable craft surfaces such as wood, terra cotta, stretched canvas, rigid plastic, papier mache, metal, bisque ware or unglazed ceramics, glass and ceramics. However, the color shifting properties of the paint appear best when painted onto a smooth, 3-dimensional surface that will reflect light.
