What is the difference between FolkArt Home Decor Chalk paint and FolkArt Acrylic paint?
FolkArt Acrylic paint is formulated as a premium, artist’s quality acrylic paint with superior hide and smooth, creamy consistency perfect for most art techniques such as brush stroke work, blending and highlighting, or stenciling. FolkArt Acrylic paint will dry to a durable matte sheen.
FolkArt Home Decor Chalk is formulated as high quality paint perfect for painting and distressing furniture and thrift store finds, as well as home Decor accessories. It is a heavily pigmented paint that does not require any project preparation such as priming, sanding or stripping. FolkArt Home Decor Chalk provides the DIY enthusiast an ultra matte chalky finish when dry which is easily sanded to distress using medium grit sandpaper. It will not “gum up” sandpaper making it easy to achieve a time-worn look.
Should I “scrub” the FolkArt® Fabric™ Brush-on Paint into the fabric while painting?
When applying the paint, use enough brush pressure to press the FolkArt® Fabric™ Brush-on paint into the fabric, by doing this, you will increase the adhesion of the paint to the fabric.
Can I use water to thin FolkArt Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint?
Thinning FolkArt Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint is not necessary, as it is manufactured to the perfect consistency to create a variety of paint poured or marbled effects using either the Direct Pour Method or Dirty Pour Method.

How should I clean my tools after using FolkArt Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint?
Because FolkArt Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint is a water-based paint rather than a solvent-based product, cleanup is easy using soap and water.
What is the difference between FolkArt® and Apple Barrel paint?
Apple Barrel is an all-purpose acrylic craft paint. It works great on craft surfaces including Styrofoam, wood, paper, terra cotta and canvas.

Is it necessary to seal or varnish FolkArt Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint?

Does FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint hold up well on outdoor surfaces?

Absolutely. FolkArt Brushed Metal Acrylic Paint is formulated so that it can be used on interior surfaces as well as a permanent outdoor paint.
