What are the best tools to use for Silkscreening on glass?
The best tools to use for silkscreening on glass are sponge pouncers and silicone squeegees. When using a squeegee, apply a small amount of glass paint to your empty area around your screen. Then, using the edge of your squeegee that best suits the dimensions of your artwork, pull your paint across the open areas of the screen using light and even pressure. If you experience bleeding it is likely because you are applying too much pressure while pulling your squeegee across the screen. You should also check to make sure your screen was lying completely flat and had properly adhered to your surface. When using a sponge pouncer, apply a small amount of glass paint onto a painter’s palette and dab your tool into the paint. Then lightly dab your sponge pouncer on an empty part of your palette to remove excess paint. Use your tool to dab paint into the open parts of your silkscreen, working quickly with light and even pressure.
How do I apply paper inside glass or acrylic?
  1. Apply a coat of Mod Podge® to the inside of the form and allow to dry slightly. Place the Napkin design where desired and gently rub it flat with your thumb.
  2. Cover the image with a second very thin coat of Mod Podge®, beginning in the center and brushing out. Allow to dry thoroughly.
  3. Add special sponging or spouncing effects, as desired, around the design and let dry.
  4. Paint the whole inside with a light color of FolkArt® Acrylic Colors. If you want to use a darker color inside, first paint around the Napkin design with a light color, let dry and then add the darker color.
