Is Martha Stewart Sea Glass Paint food-safe?

Although Martha Stewart Sea Glass Paint is water-based and non-toxic, it is always best to allow a “lip line” of ⅘” or 2 cm from the rim of a drinking glass. It is also important not to apply the paint where it will make contact with food.

Is FolkArt Multi-Surface Satin Paint permanent on glass or ceramics?
The paint is developed with extra adhesive properties making it a perfect paint for glass painting without using a primer or sealer. To ensure extra durability, it is recommended that painted glass/ceramics be cured by baking.
Is Glass Etching Cream dishwasher safe?
Yes, once your project has been etched, it is safe to run through the dishwasher. We recommend top rack dishwashing.
Are there any Glass Etching Cream precautions?
Please refer to package label for additional precautions. Avoid skin contact and ingestion. Wash hands immediately after use. Keep out the reach of children.
How should I cure Martha Stewart Milk Glass Paint on a glass surface to make it permanent?

To achieve the strongest permanence, you should cure your projects painted with Martha Stewart Milk Glass Paint in the oven by following these steps:

  1. Allow painted item to dry for 24 hours to be sure all layers of paint have dried.
  2. Place project in a cool oven, as the glass must heat gradually with the oven to avoid breakage; do not place glass in a hot oven.
  3. Set oven temperature to 350ºF.
  4. Once temperature has reached 350ºF, allow the project to bake for 30 minutes.
  5. After 30 minutes, turn the oven off and let glass cool down completely before removing from the oven.
  6. Do not use for 72 hours.
