Recyled Fridge Carton Crafts for Kids

Recyled Fridge Carton Crafts for Kids

I was cleaning out my fridge the other day and realized just how many milk cartons, egg cartons, etc. my family of five goes through each and every week. It's mind boggling! We of course recycle them, but I often find myself wanting to get creative. I mean, these things are like free art supplies! In honor of Earth Day, I've put together a collection of crafts that allow you to turn leftover fridge finds into decorative DIY fun. As always, I recommend using Home Decor Chalk for everything you do. It's my absolute favorite when aiming for A+ results.

Egg Carton Flower Wreath via This Little Life of Mine
I guess my head is in Spring, because all I can see is flowers! This wreath is a beautiful craft to welcome the season and a great way to let your little ones' imaginations bloom.

Milk Carton Sail Boat via Molly Moo
Anchors away! Maybe it's because I'm a beach gal, but this is one of my favorites. Cut out some portholes, lift the sails, and have fun making a (quite literal) sea craft for your kids' favorite dolls and action figures.

Egg Carton Turtle Craft via Crafty Morning
Who doesn't love sea turtles?! Seeing these guys in the wild is one of the most magical experiences in the world. All you need is an egg carton, paint, and paper to bring a little bit of that magic into your home. These little slowpokes are simple and so stinkin' cute!

Milk Carton Planters via The Crafty Swedes
This one is extra special because not only are you recycling, but you're also using your creation to grow something wonderful! The site is in Swedish, but the images are pretty easy to follow (and Google Translate is my best friend!).
