Mad About DIY: 3 Bright Ways To Organize Your Desk

Doll up your desk decor with these glitzy and glamorous DIY projects using Martha Stewart Crafts® paints and Liquid Gilding in our latest Mad About DIY. We TOTALLY love the contemporary color palette and wonderfully snazzy gold gilding. Some color-blocking here, a few stencils there, and BAM! You've got some classy office accessories ready to spruce up your work space.

Now, we can't guarantee that these fun organization pieces will make you more productive, but we like to think that they'll make you feel better about all the work you've been putting off.

We used five fun Martha Stewart Crafts Multi-Surface Satin Acrylic Paint colors to create this coordinating set of craft office doo-dads: Party Streamer, Pollen, Pool, Peacock Feather, and Metallic Acrylic Gold. Aren't they just divine?

We REALLY love organization. Like, REALLY love it. These cool color-blocked desktop storage boxes are the top of our organization list, and not just because they help keep our messes contained. The color-blocking and vibrant hues are giving us the DIY vapors in the best way. Thankfully, all it takes to pull of these snazzy decor looks is a little paint and some stencil tape.

If you love paperclips as much as we do, and honestly, how could you NOT, you'll know how difficult it is to keep those little buggers from ending up all over the place. Thankfully, this oh-so-cute stenciled paperclip holder provides you with a way to keep your paperclips stashed in style. Fun shades of blue and an elegant stencil pattern make this far from your ordinary desk accessory.

Hello Rhino. Who doesn't love a gilded animal note holder to really round out their desk decor? And while these jazzy card holders won't be stomping around our keyboards any time soon (that we know of), we can't help but be entranced by the gold+vibrant hue color combo. It's a one-two punch that packs a whole lot of style for relatively minimal effort. We can't set our gilded buddies free in the wilds of our home décor, so we'll just give them a forever home amongst our business cards and to-do lists.
