A kit that comes with an aida cloth, where counting will be needed to know placement of stitches throughout the design. 

Most of our kits are designed for intermediate to advanced and we recommend to have some prerequisite knowledge of basic stitch techniques prior to starting. For those just starting to learn, we recommend our Mindful stitching embroidery kits to get more familiar with the thread and basic stitch techniques. 

Cross stitch comes with an aida cloth where an “x” stitch technique is used vs embroidery is embellishing a fabric with different stitch and knot techniques.

Depending on the kit, some common additional supplies needed are scissors, hot glue gun and sticks or tape for finishing.
