  • Black canvas tote bag
  • Cardboard or paper (to place inside bag)

Instructions:

  1. Insert cardboard inside the tote to prevent paint from bleeding through to the back.
  2. Shake paint pens well and test on scrap paper first to get the paint flowing smoothly.
  3. Draw the stars. Use the gold pen to create various sized stars across the bag—some solid filled, some outlined. Add smaller silver stars scattered throughout. Refer to the photo for placement.
  4. Add Saturn. Draw a large circle with the silver pen, then add a ring around it using the gold pen.
  5. Create the sun. Use the silver pen to draw pointed rays radiating outward, then fill the center with the gold pen.
  6. Draw the moon and clouds. Add a silver crescent moon and a fluffy cloud shape. Use the silver pen to add small raindrops beneath the cloud.
  7. Add botanical accents. Draw delicate silver leaf branches and vines to soften the space theme.
  8. Let dry completely (about 1-2 hours) before using your tote.
