Design Tips

Brushstroke Techniques:

  • Use loose, confident strokes for modern look
  • Don't worry about perfection—imperfect is stylish
  • Load brush fully with paint for bold color
  • Layer colors while wet for blended effects

Color Combinations:

  • Mix warm (pink, coral, yellow) and cool (teal, lime, purple) tones
  • Use 4-6 colors per vase for vibrant look
  • Let base coat color peek through for depth

Pattern Ideas:

  • Drips: Start at rim, pull brush down in quick motion
  • Waves: Move brush side to side while painting stripe
  • Florals: Use teardrop strokes for petals radiating from center
  • Abstract: Layer random brushstrokes in multiple colors

Finishing

Seal Your Work:

  1. Let all painted vases dry 24 hours
  2. Optional: Apply clear acrylic sealer for durability
  3. Follow sealer instructions for best results
