Other Things You'll Need

  • 3 different sized pumpkins

Instructions

  1. For the large pumpkin: Basecoat the pumpkin in FolkArt Color Shift Blacklight Acrylic Paint in Neon Green. 
  2. Using FolkArt Licorice and FolkArt Brush Set, paint drips from the top of the pumpkin going downward and fill in the space as shown. Don’t forget to paint the stem!
  3. For the Medium Pumpkin: Use the FolkArt Pouncer set to basecoat the top half of the pumpkin with FolkArt Color Shift Blacklight Acrylic Paint in Neon Yellow Orange.
  4. Paint the bottom half of the pumpkin with Neon Orange. Blend between the two layers to create a smooth gradient transition.
  5. For the Small Pumpkin: Repeat this same process with the small pumpkin, painting the top Neon Yellow and the bottom Neon Blue. Blend between the layers to create a green and a soft gradient.
  6. Let dry completely and display on your front porch! For an extra fun effect, switch out your porch light with a blacklight bulb and watch these pumpkins glow!
