Crystal Clear Decoupaged Holiday Ornaments

Create show-stopping holiday ornaments with festive paper designs and gilded gold accents—a fun, customizable project that'll make your tree absolutely iconic. 

Instructions

1. Prep ornaments: Ensure paper mache ornaments are clean and smooth. 
2. Cut paper designs: Cut Christmas paper into strips or sections to fit the ornament panels—refer to the photo for placement. 
3. Apply Mod Podge: Using a brush from the Mod Podge Brush Set, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge Crystal Clear to one section of the ornament. 
4. Add paper: Place the cut paper onto the wet Mod Podge, smoothing from center outward to remove air bubbles and wrinkles. 
5. Continue sections: Repeat for each panel of the ornament, working one section at a time. Let dry completely (1-2 hours). 
6. Seal the design: Apply a coat of Mod Podge Crystal Clear over all papered areas. Let dry. 
7. Add gold accents: Using a small brush, apply FolkArt Treasure Gold 5535 to the ornament edges and ridges—refer to the photo for placement. Let dry completely.
