Crystal Clear Decoupaged Oyster Shells

Learn how to make gorgeous decoupage oyster shell dishes with floral napkins and metallic gold accents, featuring the exciting new Mod Podge Crystal Clear—the latest crystal-clear glossy formula in the Mod Podge line.

Instructions

1. Prep the shells: Ensure oyster shells are clean, dry, and free of debris. 
2. Cut the napkins: Separate the printed layer from the napkin backing. Cut out desired floral sections—refer to the photo for placement. 
3. Apply Mod Podge: Using a brush from the Mod Podge Brush Set, apply a thin, even layer of Mod Podge Crystal Clear to the inside of the shell where you want the design. 
4. Position the design: Gently place the napkin cutout onto the wet Mod Podge. Smooth from center outward to remove air bubbles. 
5. Seal the design: Once positioned, apply another thin layer of Mod Podge over the napkin. Let dry completely (1-2 hours). 
6. Add gold edges: Using a small brush, carefully apply Treasure Gold  along the shell edges. Let dry. 
7. Final seal: Apply one more coat of Mod Podge over the entire design for durability. Let dry completely before using. 

Display your finished shells on a tray or use them to hold small treasures!
