Forget waiting until December, this sand globe brings Christmas to July with a beach twist. The snowperson traded the snow for sunglasses, a palm tree, and an actual sand base. Made with styrofoam balls, Apple Barrel Paint, and Mod Podge, it's a simple build that puts a fun spin on a holiday favorite. Thanks to The Crafty Lumberjacks for sharing it with us!

Instructions:
- Prep the Snowperson - Build the snowperson by layering and hot gluing a small, medium and large styrofoam ball together. Tip: Use pieces of a wooden skewer or tooth pick in between each styrofoam ball for added reinforcement before hot gluing.
- Paint and Mod Podge Sand to Snowperson - Paint the snowperson a beige or sandy color and let it dry. Add a coat of Mod Podge to the entire snow person and adhere sand to the snowperson until completely covered with sand and let it dry.
- Prep the Jar - For a colorful background, cut down a decorative napkin to size to fit on the back of the jar. Use Mod Podge to adhere the napkin to the back of the jar.
- Prep any Accessories and Attach - Add pops of color with Apple Barrel Paint to the palm tree. Paint the tip of a wooden skewer for a carrot nose. Cut a piece of felt into a scarf. Hot Glue all accessories to the snow person.
- Glue and Add Sand - Glue your snow person and palm tree to the inside of the lid.Tip: First, screw the lid onto the jar and place a small piece of removable tape on the front. This will help you see which direction is the front so your snow person and palm tree face the background correctly. Add a few spoonfuls of sand to the jar, then screw the lid on tightly.
