Make your indoor plants pop with a DIY painted wooden planter that's equal parts fun and functional. Apple Barrel acrylic paints create vibrant color sections while multi-surface paint pens add those perfect finishing touches such as scalloped borders, botanical line art, and whatever else your creative brain comes up with. 

Other Things You'll Need

  • Masking tape or painter’s tape
  • Pencil

Instructions:

  1. Sketch a scalloped pattern around the rim of the planter and paint it Light Lavender.
  2. Mask off a vertical stripe pattern on the planter with masking tape. Paint the stripes White and Diva Pink.
  3. Once the paint’s dry, outline and embellish with Apple Barrel Paint Pens.
