This framed glitter art project is an easy way to add texture, shimmer, and a pop of color to any print you already love, whether it's a bold floral design or a favorite piece of digital art. With just a few coats of Mod Podge Gloss and a mix of Apple Barrel Glitter Shakers, you can transform flat printed graphics into dimensional, sparkly décor that looks great framed on a shelf, gallery wall, or desk. It's a beginner friendly project that only takes a few supplies and comes together in an afternoon.

Other Things You'll Need:

Instructions:

  1. Find a graphic art print that you love. Print it out to the size of your frame. 
  2. Protect your workspace with something like parchment paper or poster board for easy clean-up when you’re done working with the loose glitter. 
  3. Brush your Mod Podge Gloss in small sections on your art print, following the shapes of the design with a matching glitter color.  
  4. Work in smaller sections so that the Mod Podge doesn’t begin to dry before you sprinkle your glitter on the area. 
  5. To avoid mixing colors of glitter together while you’re working, make sure one section of glitter is completely dry before applying a different color of glitter to the print. 
  6. Let the glitter artwork fully dry then place it into your frame!
