Instructions:
Top Round - Jellyfish
- Paint the background. Using a paintbrush, paint the entire wood round with Cool Blue. Apply 2-3 coats for solid coverage, allowing each coat to dry between applications.
- Draw the jellyfish dome. Using the Neon Pink paint pen, draw a large dome shape in the upper center of the round for the jellyfish bell.
- Add tentacles. Using the Neon Pink and Neon Blue paint pens, draw flowing, wavy lines extending downward from the jellyfish bell. Vary the lengths and curves for a natural look. Refer to the photo for placement.
- Create details. Use the Purple paint pen to add dots and patterns on the jellyfish bell and along some tentacles. Refer to the photo for placement.
- Add highlights. Use the Neon Blue paint pen to add accent lines and details throughout the jellyfish design.
Bottom Round - Coral Reef
- Paint the background. Paint the entire wood round with Cool Blue using a paintbrush. Apply 2-3 coats, allowing drying time between coats.
- Paint the coral bases. Using a paintbrush, paint various coral shapes along the bottom half of the round with Flamingo Coral, Christmas Green, and Cameo Pink. Create different heights and shapes. Refer to the photo for placement.
- Add coral details. Use the Green paint pen to draw branching coral patterns and seaweed shapes. Add wavy lines and organic textures.
- Layer more colors. Use the Neon Pink and Purple paint pens to add more coral branches, dots, and decorative elements throughout the underwater scene. Refer to the photo for placement.
- Final touches. Add small details like bubbles, additional texture lines, and highlights with the Neon Blue paint pen.
- Let dry completely. Allow artwork to cure for 24-72 hours before hanging.
