Other Things You'll Need

  • 3” Embroidery Hoop 
  • Embroidery thread – Yellow, light blue 
  • Fabric – Repurposed denim 
  • Decorative Craft Paper 
  • Embroidery needle 
  • Pencil 
  • Scissors 

Instructions

  1. Stretch piece of denim over the embroidery hoop. Insert into frame, to be aware of spacing, and sketch out your flower. Reference photo for design. 
  2. Remove from frame and embroider the simple flower using a running stitch 
  3. Trace the frame onto the decorative craft paper and cut out to fit the frame. 
  4. Apply Mod Podge to frame and fit the craft paper onto the frame, smoothing it out as you apply. 
  5. Once fully dry, insert the embroidery hoop into the back of the frame and secure.
