Mod Podge Month - Week One - Gallery Wall Frames and Wood Canvas Art

Blue and Orange Striped Frame Instructions:

1. Basecoat card stock with Conch Shell and let dry.

2. Basecoat frame with Light Blue and let dry.

3. Cut out patterns and design icons that will be used to create design. (black graphic flower and leaves)

4. Use frame as a guide to cut patterned paper. Trace frame with a pencil and cut out patterned paper.

5. Layout design as shown. 

6. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, cover frame and create art work on card stock as shown. Let Mod Podge dry and insert art into frame.

Teal Checked Frame Instructions:

1. Basecoat card stock and frame with Light Blue and let dry.

2. Cut out patterns and printed art that will be used to create design. ( black graphic flower and leaves)

3. Use frame as a guide to cut patterned paper. Trace frame with a pencil and cut out patterned paper.

4. Layout design as shown.

5. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, cover frame and create art work on card stock as shown.  Let Mod Podge dry and insert art into  frame.

Yellow and White Striped Vintage Frame Instructions:

1. Basecoat card stock and frame with Vintage White and let dry.

2. Cut out patterns and printed art that will be used to create design. (black graphic flower and leaves, flowers, printed stripe paper and shape)

3. Layout design as shown.

4. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, cover card stock and create art work on card stock as shown. Let Mod Podge dry and insert art into frame.

Pink Checked Frame with Floral Vase Instructions:

1. Basecoat frame with Navy Blue and let dry. 

2. Refering to photo, divide wood panel as shown creating a wall and table top. Paint top with Clover and bottom with Ocean View as shown.  Dry brush with Vintage White to add texture. Let dry.

3. Cut out patterns and design icons that will be used to create design.    (example: small flowers and graphic vase.)

4. Layout design as shown.

5. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, place create art patterned vase first. Then create floral elements as shown. Let Mod Podge dry.

Short Striped Frame with Floral Vase Instructions:

1.Basecoat card stock with Goldenrod and let dry.

2. Basecoat frame with Conch Shell and let dry.

3. Cut out patterns and design icons that will be used to create design. (example: small flowers and graphic vase.)

4. Use frame as a guide to cut patterned paper. Trace frame with a pencil and cut out patterned paper.

5. Layout design as shown.

6. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, cover frame and create art work on card stock as shown. Let Mod Podge dry and insert art into frame.

Pink Checked Frame with Floral Vase Instructions:

1. Basecoat card stock with Light Blue and let dry. 

2. Cut out patterns and design icons that will be used to create design. (example: small flowers and graphic vase.)

3. Use frame as a guide to cut patterned paper. Trace frame with a pencil and cut out patterned paper.

4. Layout design as shown. Using Vintage White, paint the table top, and dry brush with Light Blue as shown. Let dry.

5. Following basic instructions on Mod Podge, cover frame and create art work on card stock as shown. Let Mod Podge dry.

6. Using small detail brushes and FolkArt paint, add small elements like leaves and stems to art as shown.

7. Let dry and frame.
