Candlestick Bows
- Pour Stiffy into a bowl. Add a small amount of paint to the bowl and mix. Repeat this step for each color.
- Cut cheesecloth to desire length and tie into a bow.
- Dip the bows into the stiffy/paint mix.
- Place the bows onto the nonstick surface.
- Reshape the bows and insert the plastic wrap into each loop of the bows. This will help to keep the bows form.
- Allow the bows to dry overnight.
- Once dry, remove the plastic wrap and cut the ends into a “V” shape.
- Hot glue the bows to the candlesticks.
Pumpkins
- Blow up the balloons to desired size.
- Wrap a piece of twine around each balloon to make the indentions of a pumpkin.
- Cut the cheesecloth into strips.
- Pour some Stiffy into a bowl and dip the strips into the Stiffy. Remove excess and wrap the balloons. Add several layers of cheesecloth.
- Cut a larger strip of cheesecloth and dip into the Stiffy. Form a stem and sit it onto the nonstick surface. Allow everything to dry overnight.
- Pop each balloon and remove from the inside of the pumpkin.
- Paint the pumpkins with Orange Sherbert, Pumpkin Orange and Harvest Orange. Shade the indentions of the pumpkins with Nutmeg.
- Paint the stems with Parakeet.
- Hot glue the stems onto the pumpkins.
