Striped & Chic: DIY Lamp, Box & Frame

Modern DIY makeover using the new Mod Podge Crystal Clear and striped paper to create a stylish lamp, box, and frame—perfect for crafters with a clean, cozy aesthetic.

Instructions

Project 1: Striped Lamp Base 

1. Paint the base with FolkArt Vintage Tea Rose. Let dry completely. 
2. Cut pink striped paper into vertical strips to fit the lamp base. 
3. Apply Mod Podge to the back of each strip and press onto the base. 
4. Smooth out bubbles with brush or fingers. 
5. Seal with Mod Podge over the paper. Let dry. 
6. Refer to the photo for placement of stripes and spacing. 

Project 2: Decorative Box 

1. Paint the box edges with FolkArt Vintage Tea Rose. Let dry. 
2. Cut paper panels to fit the box sides and lid. 
3. Apply Mod Podge to the box surface and press paper in place. 
4. Seal with Mod Podge over the paper. Let dry. 
5. Refer to the photo for placement of stripes and orientation. 

Project 3: Striped Picture Frame 

1. Paint the frame edges with FolkArt Dove Gray. Let dry. 
2. Cut blue striped paper into vertical strips to fit the frame front. 
3. Apply Mod Podge to the frame and press paper strips in place. 
4. Seal with Mod Podge over the paper. Let dry. 
5. Refer to the photo for placement of stripes and alignment.
