Instructions
- For the background, use a palette knife to apply FolkArt Super Thick Paint in Turquoise to the bottom third of your canvas. To your paint palette, add a dollop of FolkArt Super Thick White to the Turquoise and mix. You’re aiming for sky blue. Apply this color to the middle of your canvas. Add another dollop of white to the sky blue to lighten it further and apply it to the remaining space of your canvas. Use your palette knife to blend the lines between the colors and create a gentle gradient. Let dry.
- Create the flower stems with a palette knife and FolkArt Super Thick in Leafy Green. Drag the dipped palette knife from the bottom up to create a long, tapered effect.
- Once you have all of your stems, use your palette knife to scoop out some FolkArt Super Thick paint in Leafy Green. Start from the center of your stem and drag the knife flat across the canvas to create each leaf. Repeat as desired to create a lush landscape.
- To create the flowers, repeat this same process as the leaves, but with the Soft Pink, Orange, and Purple FolkArt Super Thick paint. Start from the tip of your stems and drag the flat palette knife outward across your canvas to create petals. Tip: You can mix two or more colors on your palette to create your own beautifully blended floral hues.
- To finish your flowers, use the remaining FolkArt Super Thick Medium Yellow dabbed into the center of your petals. Let dry completely.
- Hang your new spring-inspired work of art in your home or gift it to a friend!
