Other Things You'll Need:

  • Recycled Cardboard Box
  • Painter’s Tape
  • Clay Roller
  • Craft Knife
  • Paper Towels
  • E6000 Glue

Instructions:

 1. Create the Heart 

  • Cut two matching heart shapes from cardboard. 

  • Cut a 4-inch strip long enough to wrap around the heart and secure with painter’s tape. 

  • Cut a 3-inch opening at the top of the heart. Use the photo for placement. 

 2. Set the Foundation 

  • Tear paper towels into strips and apply them to the entire heart using Mod Podge. Let dry completely. 

 3. Paint with Love 

  • Paint the full heart Wicker White  

  • Paint the outer edge with Licorice for a crisp, defined outline. 

 4. Add the Sweet Details 

  • Paint the hearts on the front using Licorice and Lipstick Red. 

  • Paint “I love you” in Lipstick Red for a timeless Valentine touch. 

 5. Finish with a Bow 

  • Shape a small bow from red clay using your favorite red shade from the set, then glue it onto the front of the heart. Refer to the photo for placement.
