Plaid Creator FolkArt Home Décor Chalk Paint Challenge

This month our Plaid Creators were challenged to create something with FolkArt Home Décor Chalk Paint and had their choice of a super fun craft project, or an inventive home decor piece. The new 2 oz bottle size makes it ideal for crafting and small projects, while the 8 oz and 16 oz sizes are perfect for larger furniture pieces. Cherished Bliss – Farm Table Makeover -  I have come to realize that I have a very difficult time with finding the right rugs, dining room tables, and couches. I finally found a couch that I absolutely LOVE. Now I’m working on our farmhouse dining room table makeover. The one we have now is great. But it’s just too long for the space we have, and it’s not my favorite next to our dark cabinets. It’s a little too much wood tone for me. When I found this old library table on craigslist I was pretty hopeful this was THE table.

Made to be Momma - Coffee Cup Holder– “When I was asked by Plaid to come up with a project using their FolkArt ® Home Decor Chalk, which just so happens to be one of my favorite paints to work with, I just knew I needed to make this coffee cup holder!”

 
Petticoat Junktion - Recycle Project: Glam Coffee Can Flower Vase – “Don’t throw away those metal coffee cans. You can make a glam coffee can flower vase just like mine. The simple Springtime project took less than 90 minutes and it brought two of my favorite things together, paint and recycling”
 
 
The Cards We Drew- DIY Kids Lemonade Stand Sign –“I made them this fun DIY Kids Lemonade Stand Sign to put in front of their kids table. Come see how easy it is to make with FolkArt® Home Decor Chalk Paint and new Lilly and Val adorable stencils from FolkArt!”
 
 
Flamingo Toes – Floss Shadow Box - “It’s been way too long since I did a vintage sheet project and this little shadowbox worked out perfectly! I have all these cute little colors of floss and I wanted a way to easily see what I had. Plus, I’m always up for cute storage – it’s so much more fun to be tidy that way!”
 
 
Pretty Life Girls - Hello Door Sign – “I’m sharing this fun “Hello” front door sign I made for my mom’s front porch! To make this sign I used one of my favorite products EVER, FolkArt® Home Decor Chalk Paint. If you aren’t already stocked up in your craft room with this product, get on it!”
