This month our Plaid Creators were challenged to create something with
FolkArt Home Décor Chalk Paint and had their choice of a super fun craft project, or an inventive home decor piece. The new 2 oz bottle size makes it ideal for crafting and small projects, while the 8 oz and 16 oz sizes are perfect for larger furniture pieces. Better yet, all of these sizes will be at your local craft store or at Plaid Online. Take a look at what our talented Plaid Creators came up with, and see what they had to say about the process!

Side Table Makeover With FolkArt Home Decor Chalk- “Sometimes a simple coat or two of paint is all a piece of furniture needs to make it look beautiful, and I knew that was the case for this sweet little side table that has been collecting dust in our guest room. Today I’ll show you an easy side table makeover using FolkArt® Home Decor™ Chalk”

Painted Wooden Chest - A Makeover With Folkart Home Decor Chalk Paint. “Recently, a good friend asked me if I’d like to have a wooden writing chest. She’d had it for years and wasn’t using it, so she thought maybe I’d like to give it a makeover…which I definitely did! Here’s how I transformed it using one of my trusty go-to supplies, FolkArt® Home Decor Chalk Paint”

Farm Table Makeover - I have come to realize that I have a very difficult time with finding the right rugs, dining room tables, and couches. I finally found a couch that I absolutely LOVE. Now I’m working on our farmhouse dining room table makeover. The one we have now is great. But it’s just too long for the space we have, and it’s not my favorite next to our dark cabinets. It’s a little too much wood tone for me. When I found this old library table on craigslist I was pretty hopeful this was THE table.

Ikea Bookshelf - “I recently prettied two of these Ikea Bekvam spice racks up with my favorite FolkArt® Home Decor Chalk Paint and some decorative wood lettering to turn them into a bookshelves for each of my daughters to hang above her bunk bed.”
