What is the name of your blog?
Mad in Crafts
Why did you choose that name?
As a former high school English teacher, I wanted to incorporate a little bit of Shakespeare into my blog. Mad in Crafts is a play on a line from Hamlet!
What inspired you start blogging/video?
It began as a way for me to share the ways I was decorating our home for little to no money, and evolved into the full-time job it is today!
How do you describe your style?
For home decor: Cozy Schoolhouse, For crafting: MORE COLOR!
What has been your biggest blogging/video achievement?
I've been honored to be featured in several print magazines over the years, as well as being named a finalist in The TODAY Show's Top 10 DIY projects.
Who has been the biggest influence on your crafting?
My paternal grandmother is the one who first encouraged my love of crafting. I never did master knitting, but she instilled in me a love of creating beautiful things when I was very young.
What is your favorite color?
I always have a hard time with this question! I alternate between red and purple depending on the day.
What is your catchphrase?
Crazy good creativity!
If you could craft with anyone past or present who would you craft with and why?
I have a tribe of friends in the blogging world who are spread out all over the country. I'd love the chance to have a crafting session with them all!

Sitting around a campfire drinking craft beer with my friends!
