Plaid ® Wood Surfaces - Unpainted Layered Shapes - Flower, 8 Petal - 97092, Wooden scallop flower, Blue sky paper, Two different green papers, Newspaper, Liner brush, ¾” flat brush, #12 flat brush, Green glittered fun craft foam, Scissors, Hot glue, Water basin, Foam plates, Paper towels
Instructions
- Basecoat the panel with Calypso Sky. Allow to dry.
- Decoupage the sky colored paper to the top portion of the panel. Allow to dry. Rip the two green papers and the newspaper in the shapes of mountains. Decoupage as shown in photo starting with the darker green paper then the newspaper and the lastly the lighter green. Allow to dry. Cover the entire panel with Mod Podge. Allow to dry and then add the swirls using Classic Green with liner brush to the newspaper. Set aside.
- Paint the dowels with Classic Green, one flower with Goldenrod, another flower with Brilliant Pink, and lastly a flower with Moon Yellow. Allow to dry and then decoupage the newspaper on two of the flower’s petals and the last one add the newspaper to the center. Allow to dry and then add a top coat of Mod Podge. Once the Mod Podge dries add the detail with the liner brush to each flower, refer to photo for placement.
- Cut leave shapes from the green glitter craft foam. Glue everything into place.
Tip: Use the end of a pencil eraser to make yellow dots on the flowers center.
