Mod Podge ® Mod Molds - Ornaments, #24890, Papier-mâché Ornament – 6 sides, Paintbrush, Scrap paper, Black and White Damask Paper, Pencil, Scissors, Hot Glue, Chunky Glitter, Rhinestones, Pearls
Instructions
- Paint the ornament with Metallic Silver Sterling paint. Allow to dry.
- Create a template of the sides of the ornament with scrap paper. Cut 3 from the damask paper. Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper. Apply the paper to side of the ornament and top-coat with a layer of Mod Podge to seal the paper. Allow to dry. Do this for all 3 sides.
- Create 3 Mod Melt oval frames by heating a Mod Melt stick in a high-temp hot glue gun. Squeeze the melt into the frame mold. Allow the melt to cool for 7 min. Remove the melt from the mold. Do this 3 times.
- Hot glue the frames to the center of the ornaments on the painted sides. Fill the well of the frame with Mod Podge and sprinkle glitter into the center. Tap off the excess and allow to dry. Glue rhinestones and pearls above and below the frames.
Tip: Make it personalized! Instead of using a mod melt frame, try using a glittered chipboard letter that represents a first or last name.
