Unfinished wood tray, Paper towel, Water basin, Palette or Styrofoam plate
- Paint tray with Sea Glass using 1” flat brush; let dry. Accent inside edge of tray with a wash of Peacock Feather; let dry.
- Trim jellyfish stencil to fit in tray, and use stencil tape to hold the stencil in place on tray front. Using the ½” stencil brush, stencil with Pond, using a light touch to let the pickled tray surface show through some areas of the jellyfish. Wipe brush clean and load with Sea Glass and blend into the Pond and onto the tentacles, referring to photo for color placement, graduating each color and gradually blending from one color to the other. Remove stencils. Let dry.
- Referring to photo, trim and tape a few of the fish onto the tray. Using the 3/8” stencil brush, paint the fish with Peacock, then wipe brush clean and reload with Pond to add blending areas on fish. Repeat with Beach Glass.
- To protect the tray, you may wish to add a piece of clear glass or Plexiglas cut to the inside dimensions of the tray.
