Other Supplies

  • Mason jars
  • Wooden tray
  • Turf patterned paper
  • Scissors

Instructions

  1. Use your 1½″ sponger to apply Burnt Umber to your mason jar. Lightly spounce your sponger onto the surface. Let dry and repeat to create full coverage.
  2. Use your ½″ flat brush and Wicker White to paint the “lacing” onto the mason jar. Let Dry.
  3. Cut your turf paper the size of the inside of your tray.
  4. Using your 1″ flat brush, apply Mod Podge to the inside of your tray (see project photo for reference).
  5. Carefully lay your paper on the inside of your tray. Use your brush to seal with Mod Podge. With the edge of your smoothing tool, flatten your paper so that there are no bubbles or inconsistencies. Let dry.
