  • Medium Grit Sandpaper
  • Waverly Fabric-Black Floral or desired pattern
  • Staple Gun

instructions

  1. Remove seats from chairs.  Basecoat chairs with White and let dry.
  2. Apply second coat with Ink and let dry.
  3. Sand edges as shown to reveal white color and create distressed finish.
  4. Dust with soft dry cloth.
  5. Following basic instructions on Clear Wax, apply wax to seal project. 
  6. Recover chair seats with desired fabric and staple gun.

Yes, you can create custom colors by mixing any number of the Waverly Inspirations Chalk paints together.
Start with the lightest color, adding in darker shades until desired color is achieved.
The benefit of painting with Waverly Inspirations Chalk is that no prep work such as sanding, stripping or priming is needed.
When painting on previously used furniture, simply clean the surface using a glass cleaner to remove dirt or dust particles. When painting on glass surfaces, make sure to clean surface using rubbing alcohol.
Stir well to incorporate the paint. Use straight from the bottle or pour a small amount onto a palette.
