Mod Podge ® Podgeable Paper Flip Books - Nature, Mod Podge Rub-on Transfers, Foam Plate, Paper Towels, Wax Candle, Fine Grit Sandpaper, Paintbrush – ¾” Flat, Scissors, Eyescrews (2), Scrap Yarn

Instructions

  1. Using ¾” Flat Brush, base coat wood canvas panel with Forest Moss. Allow to dry.

  2. Sand smooth using fine grit sandpaper and reapply Forest Moss base coat.

  3. When completely dry, rub candle over all edges and a few random areas over top surface.

  4. Base coat Titanium White over entire surface and allow to dry.

  5. Sand entire surface smooth once more to distress wood panel. Note: Areas where candle wax was applied will reveal Forest Moss base coat.

  6. Peel rub on transfer from backing sheet and place over distressed wood panel. Using craft stick included, carefully transfer words in desired placement on wood panel by rubbing using slight pressure. Note: You may choose to leave some area free of words when Mod Podge Shapes will be placed.

  7. Using scissors cut out scalloped bird paper shape. Also cut letters: “G R O W”.

  8. Apply Matte Mod Podge to top of each paper design. Apply matching shape directly over mod podge’d paper and apply pressure to smooth paper. Allow to dry.

  9. When dry, trim any excess paper if necessary.

  10. Attach two eye screws to top of wood canvas panel one inch from sides. Using scrap of yarn string each lettered tag and attach to eye screws.

  11. Using a couple Pop Dots attach scalloped bird Mod Podge shape to lower right corner of canvas panel.
