Instructions

Preparation

  1. Refer to the Basic Stenciling Tips for information on using Martha Stewart Stencils.
  • Go Wild

    1. Position the “Go Wild” stencil in the center of the bag. Stencil “Go Wild” Slate Gray using a medium dauber. Let dry.
    2. Along the edges of the bag, stencil leaves Scottish Highland using a small dauber. Repeat leaves as desired. Let dry.

    Panda

    1. Stencil the panda design in the center of bag Arrowhead using a stencil brush. Let dry.

    Tigers and Leopards

    1. Position animal stencil where desired and stencil using a small stencil brush. Repeat animal stencils to create an overall random pattern. Stencil Slate Gray, Arrowhead, and Marmalade.

    Clean Up

    1. Wash all stencils, brushes, and tools immediately after use before the paint dries.
    2. Cleaned stencils should be stored on the backer sheet for future use.

    Finishing

    1. Allow the painted fabric project to dry 72 hours and then heat set to enhance the project's durability.
