Instructions

Small Plate

  1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
  2. With the liner brush, paint diamond in burnt Sienna on the backside outside edge of the plate.  Dot centers with Autumn Leaves.
  3. With the liner brush, paint Licorice zebra stripes on the back side center of the plate.  Let dry completely.
  4. Double load the large Spouncer with Warm White and Yellow Ochre.  Keeping the Yellow Ochre to the outside edge, pounce color around the backside of the outside edge of the plate.
  5. While above step is still wet, pounce just Warm White in the center of the plate to complete the background.
  6. Let dry completely.  Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.

Large Plate

  1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
  2. Using photo for placement, paint Licorice areas of leopard print on the backside rim of the plate.  Let dry completely.
  3. Squirt a bit of Autumn Leaves and Yellow Ochre next to each other on your palette.  Use a large round brush to mix them a little and fill in the spots onthe leopard print.  Let dry completely.
  4. Squirt a bit of Autumn Leaves, Yellow Ochre, and Warm White close together on your palette.  Using the large Spouncer, pick a bit of each color up and pounce the background of the leopard print on the edge of the plate.  Let dry.
  5. Using just the Yellow Ochre, Burnt Sienna, and Warm White, fill in the center area of the plate with the Spouncer.
  6. Let dry, and bake in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.

Glass

  1. Wash and dry all glassware before painting.
  2. Mask off the top section of the glass.
  3. Paint the bottom section of the glass Warm White.  Remove the tape immediately.
  4. Load the #12 flat brush with Clear Medium.  Side load into Yellow Ochre.
  5. With the Yellow Ochre side of the brush on the top edge of the Warm White, shade top portion.  Let dry.
  6. Paint zebra stripes with a liner brush, using Licorice.
  7. Paint the bottom of the glass Burnt Sienna.
  8. Bake in a 350° oven for 30 minutes.
