Tape off a large section of the front of boot. Basecoat with Parchment. Allow to dry completely.
-
Measure the distance between the top of the color block to the bottom. This is will be the length of the diamond pattern. Measure the shoe across the front, from side to side, to determine the width of the diamond. Once the size is determined draw it onto a scrap piece of paper. This will be the pattern for the diamond.
-
Place the paper diamond pattern onto the front of the shoe. Secure with tape if necessary. Tape of each side of the diamond.
-
Cut down 1/8” strips of tape to go across the taped off diamonds crossing in the middle of diamond.
-
Paint the diamond with ½” angled brush in Grey. Allow to dry. Remove tape.
-
Paint Orange stitching with the liner brush where the 1/8” tape crossed over inside the diamond.
-
Use the pattern again to follow the diamond shape which also makes a diamond with the stitching.
