instructions

Other Supplies

  • Stencil Tape
  • Plastic Cups
  • Poster Board

Instructions

  1. Place a strip of stencil tape on your wood coasters.
  2. Pour Purple Pre-mixed Pouring Paint and White Pre-Mixed Pouring Paint into a plastic cup. Pour the contents of the cup on one side of your stencil tape and let dry.
  3. Remove the stencil tape from your coasters.
  4. Place two strips of stencil tape on the wood side of your coaster. Apply Metallic Antique Gold to your stencil brush. Wipe off most of the paint onto a paper towel- this will keep the paint from bleeding under the stencil. Hold your loaded brush perpendicular to your stencil and dab in between your stencil tape. See project photo for reference. Remove stencil tape and let dry.
  5. Place your coasters on a piece of poster board. Spray a light mist of Mod Podge Clear Acrylic Gloss Sealer on your coasters. Allow 15-20 minutes to dry between coats.
