Other Supplies

  • White t-shirt
  • Two (2) Squeeze Bottles
  • Rubber bands
  • Disposable pan or Poster board

Instructions

  1. Dampen your t-shirt then lay it on your flat workspace. Fold your shirt in an accordion style fold.
  2. Place three rubber bands down your shirt to create four sections.
  3. Lighten your Tangerine Fabric Creations with White. Repeat this lightening process with Deep Teal. Mix a 1:3 ratio of Fabric Creations to water in your squeeze bottles and shake until well mixed.
  4. Squeeze your Tangerine mixture on the second section from the bottom of your shirt and massage the paint into the shirt. Try to leave some white space near your rubber bands. Repeat this process with Deep Teal on the section above the Tangerine section.
  5. Remove the rubber bands from your shirt and lay it flat to dry. Once your shirt is dry, heat set it with an iron or put it in the dryer with dry heat.
