Preparation

  1. Refer to the Basic Silkscreen Tips for information on using Martha Stewart Silkscreens.
  2. Use scissors to cut apart the silkscreen designs.

Feather

  1. Using stencil tape, tape off a couple inches at the vase bottom as shown.  Using a medium size pouncer, apply Greek Tile.  Let dry and then remove tape.
  2. Silkscreen a Wedding Cake feather on the center of the wood vase using a small dauber and then allow to dry.

Shell

  1. Using stencil tape, tape off the bottom of vase as shown.  Using a medium pouncer, apply Wet Cement below the tape line.  Let dry and remove tape.
  2. Silkscreen the shell Wedding Cake using a small dauber.

Coral

  1. Using stencil tape, tape off a top portion of the last vase as shown.  Using a medium pouncer, apply Wedding Cake to the top half.  Let dry and remove tape.
  2. Silkscreen Slate Gray seal life designs using a small dauber.  Allow to dry.

Clean Up

  1. Wash all silkscreens, brushes, and tools immediately after use before the paint dries.
  2. Cleaned silkscreens should be stored on the backer sheet for future use.
