Instructions
-
Basecoat paint the following areas: Box – Wicker White Edge of Box Lid – Lemon Custard
-
Allow to dry and reapply a second coat if necessary.
-
To create the stripes on the top of the box, measure and tape a large square 5/8” from the edge of the box top. Within the exposed square, tape stripes approximately 1/4" apart. Paint open areas with Pure Orange using the No. 12 Flat Brush. Allow to dry and carefully remove tape.
-
Randomly paint Pure Orange and Lemon Custard dots using the small Detail Painter on the box bottom.
-
Using same colors, thin paint and load the No. 2 Script Liner Brush. Paint circles around the dots to mimic the ribbon design. Allow to dry.
-
Cut two strips of orange craft ribbon stretching over the sides of the box from one lip to the other. Glue to the inside of the lid. Note: ribbon sections crisscross each other.
-
Cut dots and circles craft ribbon long enough to create a bow and tie in place across the center of the box lid.
-
Don’t forget to sign your name.
-
Fill the box with your favorite mints or candy for that special person in your life. Enjoy!
