Other Supplies

  • White pillow form or case 14” x 14”
  • Poster board
  • Paper plate
  • Water basin

Instructions

  1. Remove the stuffing from the pillow case and set aside. Lay pillow case flat and add a piece of poster board inside to prevent paint from transferring to the backside.
  2. Squeeze a small amount of What It Dew paint on a paper plate. Dip the flat part of the heart paint sponge into the paint and pounce on the pillow creating an arc working from the center outward. Fade the paint by continuing to pounce with the sponge without reloading paint. See project photo as reference. Let dry.
  3. Peel off unicorn stencil and stick on top of painted arc. Using a new paint sponge, dip the bottom edge in What It Dew and tap on the paper plate to offload some of the paint. You want the sponge fairly dry.
  4. Pounce gently over the open areas of the stencil. Be careful not to go over the edges of the stencil.
  5. Remove the stencil, clean and place back on to stencil sheet.
  6. Peel off the star pattern stencil and place above unicorn. Squeeze a small amount of Flamingo onto the paper plate. Using a new paint sponge, dip the bottom edge into the paint and tap on the paper plate to offload.
  7. Pounce gently over the open areas of the stencil. You don’t have to fill in all of the stars.
  8. Squeeze a small amount of Milky Way onto the paper plate. Using a new paint sponge, dip the bottom edge into the paint and pounce glitter paint over the Flamingo.
  9. Remove the stencil, clean and place back on to stencil sheet.
  10. Let pillow case dry completely and refill with stuffing.
